  • Golf Scramble

    Saturday, August 11 at Briarwood Golf Course

    It's time to sign up for the 10th Annual Golf Scramble!  This year's event will be held at Briarwood Golf Course on Saturday, August 11, 2018, with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start.  Cost per golfer is only $75 per person, with breakfast and check-in beginning at 7:15 a.m.  All money raised will benefit our Foundation Fund in order to maintain affordable tuition for generations to come.  If you choose to, you can also become a Hole Sponsor.  Additional information and registration information can be found here and also in the rack in the front entrance of school.  

    Please register by July 28, 2018.

  • New Family Ice Cream Social

    The ice cream social to celebrate and welcome our new families will be held on Thursday, August 23, from 6:15 - 7:15 p.m.

  • Open House

    All parents and students are invited to our Open House at school on Thursday, August 23, from 7:15 - 8:00 p.m.  

    This is a wonderful opportunity to see the school and visit teachers.

  • New School Year Reminders

    As we anticipate the start of the new school year, please be aware of the following:

    • PS-8 classroom supply lists for 2018-19 are available online.
    • Mrs. Haagsma is looking for old crayons.  If you have any crayons that you are no longer using, please consider giving them to her.  They can be dropped off in the office or given directly to her.  
    • This year's 7th grade students must have updated immunizations and proof brought to the office prior to the start of school.

  • Parent Back to School Night

    Tuesday, August 28     7:00 p.m.

    Parents are invited to visit the classrooms, meet the teachers, and learn about our goals and expectations for your children.   The evening begins in the gym, where we'll discuss this year's school theme and receive an update on Teaching for Transformation (TfT).  There will also be a  required presentation regarding the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA) regulations.  We will review how Moline Christian School keeps your child safe on the internet as well as share some information about our Technology Acceptable Use Agreements.  There will be a time for questions after the presentation.
