  • Marker Recycling

The Prins/Klooster kindergarten class is working on keeping old markers out of landfills and recycling them instead.   We are collecting old, dried-up markers throughout the year and will be sending them to Crayola's ColorCycle Program.  Since 2013, the ColorCycle program has re-purposed more than 70 tons of markers.  They turn the old markers into materials to make asphalt, shingles, and fuel.  The markers can be any brand and any kind of marker (regular, permanent, highlighter, etc.)  Please help us care for God's creation by recycling your old markers, too.  You can send old markers to school with your student.  There are also collection boxes in all the classrooms.
