Internet Use

Moline Christian School has the following practices and policies in place to help insure that the school is compliant with current federal CIPA (Children's Internet Protection Act) requirements:

  • An internet filtering device is installed on the school network, insuring that inappropriate and dangerous content is not accessible to students, volunteers, or staff members.
  • All students, volunteers, and staff members are required to sign a Technology Acceptable Use Agreement each year.  This agreement describes expected and appropriate behavior for the use of school technology.
  • Teachers in grades K-8th provide instruction on relevant Internet safety topics during our Internet University Week each fall.  These topics are discussed and reviewed throughout the school year.
