Uniquely Made

Celebrating differences can be difficult.  Unfortunately, we often tend to wish we were like someone else.  What I love about this third grade bulletin board is that each picture reflects an image of God.  The students shared the following about what they learn on a daily basis and how they continue to grow in their faith walk with Jesus:

  1. The mirror shows me, that I am God's kid.  It helps me think about Jesus,  and how He wants me to reflect Him in how I treat others.
  2. The Bible verse reminds us that none of us are alike.
  3. My balloon reminds me how God made me.

I also noticed that Mrs. Goedegebuure, Mrs. Tjepkema, and Mrs. Metternick were on that bulletin board.  That shows me that they understand they are also all of the things that the students shared with me about being uniquely made in God's image.
